About ArchAngel Boxers

At ArchAngel Boxers Temperament is the number one priority followed by Health & Conformation. All of my Boxers are Screeded and Tested for the following DNA, OFA, ARVC, CERF, Thyroid, & provided with a 24 hour Holter Moniter or EKG prior to breeding. Without proper health & structure our Boxers would be unable to perform the tasks handed to them. As working dogs they're always in the public eye & serve as ambassadors for the breed. They help to educate children on how to handle & care for their animals as well as helping those who have bad experiences with dogs overcome their fears. I offer a lifetime of support & training with every boxer that leaves my home & promise to always be there for my Angels & the new families they adopt. Please visit all our other pages & learn about this wonderful breed I'm proud to raise here at ArchAngel Boxers.

 Paint Me A Dog

Paint me a dog...
One without fear...
A pup with spirit...
Every day of the year...
A dog that's loyal...
Filled with great heart...
Bundles of energy...
That's just the start...
A loyal companinion...
A friend to the end...
A dog I can trust...
Through thick and through thin...
Paint me a dog above the rest...
Paint me a Boxer...
They are the best.
-Gina J

The Half Breed

They call me a Boxer,
But I'm a Half-Breed.
Part Boxer of course,
and part people indeed.
Anyone who owns me knows it's true.
We're so close to being people,
we're like part of you.
"He's one of the family,"
you've heard people say.
"Don't know how we'll manage when he passes away."
But they'll get another Boxer,
a pure bred at first.
Not the most well-behaved puppy,
but far from the worst.
Then the change will take place,
the same as before.
They'll end up with the same human HALF-BREED once more!

ArchAngel Accomplishments
What is a Title?

Not just a brag, not just a stepping stone to a higher title, not just an adjunct to competitive scores, a title is a tribute to the dog that bears it, a way to honor the dog, an ultimate memorial.
It will remain in the record and in the memory for about as long as anything in the world can remain. And though the dog herself doesn't know or care that her achievements have been noted, a title says many things in the world of humans where such things count.
A title says your dog was intelligent, adaptable, and good natured. It says that your dog loved you enough to do the things that pleased you, however crazy they may have sometimes seemed. In addition, a title says that you loved your dog. That you loved to spend time with her because she was a good dog and that you believed in her enough to give her yet another chance when she failed and in the end your faith was justified.
A title proves that your dog inspired you to that special relationship enjoyed by so few, that in a world of disposable creatures, this dog with a title was greatly loved, and loved greatly in return. And when that dear short life is over, the title remains as a memorial of the finest kind, the best you can give to a deserving friend. Volumes of praise in one small set of initials after the name. An obedience, agility, flyball, herding, etc. title is nothing less than true love and respect, given and received and recorded permanently.
Author unknown.

These are some of the titles the Boxers here at ArchAngel hold and a little bit about them....

R.E.A.D. Reading Education
          Assistance Dogs
The mission of the R.E.A.D. program is to improve the literacy skills of children through the assistance of registered Pet Partner® therapy teams as literacy mentors.
The Reading Education Assistance Dogs® (R.E.A.D.) program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog. But not just any dog. R.E.A.D. dogs are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team, going to schools, libraries, and many other settings as reading companions for children.
Today, hundreds of registered R.E.A.D. teams work throughout the United States and Canada. R.E.A.D. is one of those ideas that, in the words of Bill Moyers, “pierces the mundane to arrive at the marvelous.”
Intermountain Therapy Animals, a nonprofit organization, launched R.E.A.D. in 1999 as the first comprehensive literacy program built around the appealing idea of reading to dogs, and the program has been spreading rapidly and happily ever since!

Ethics, Dependability, Honor
National Dog Registry
Founded in 1966, NDR is by far the largest  &  most respected registry of its kind. In fact, NDR developed the concept of registering a pet tattoo for protection against loss  &  theft. The founders of NDR lost a loved pet to thieves  &  spent weeks searching pounds, wholesale dealers  &  laboratories to no avail. Through their grief, National Dog Registry was formed. NDR is run by people whose lives are devoted to the welfare and well-being of animals everywhere. NDR follows a Code of Ethics that is second to none it its commitment to animal protection. We are now extending our networking capabilities by providing our services through the Internet. Our new site will have a good deal of additional information about our history, services, and successful pet recovery record.
